About the Author
Rebecca Demers is a passionate follower of Jesus with a heart to see women set free from lies and rooted in the love of God. With honesty and vulnerability, she shares from her own journey of healing, identity, and walking with God through the ups and downs of life.She has served as a youth pastor and holds a Master of Theological Studies from McMaster University. Her heart for missions has taken her across the world, including a year in Cambodia where she worked with children, youth, and young adults. She has also been involved in various other mission endeavours, always with a desire to share God’s love and see lives transformed by His truth.When she’s not working, you can find her baking gluten-free goodies, curled up with her Bible and journal or with a good book, or going for long walks. That’s the heartbeat behind every page, every story, every word.Because no matter what you’re walking through — or what you’ve already walked through — I want you to know something unshakable: You are loved.This book was born out of a yearning not just to speak truth, but to reach hearts. To whisper (or shout, if needed) to anyone who feels alone, overlooked, unworthy, too broken, too far gone — that God's love is still calling your name.It’s not just any love. It’s a love that doesn’t flinch at your flaws. A love that doesn’t retreat from your pain. As I was spending time with the Lord tonight I felt like He wants His daughters to know: In all things I am good. I am always good. I do not change. I can’t be the giver of good and bad. I am good. I have your best interests at heart. I work all things for good for my beloved. Honour me and I will honour you. I will turn your mess, your failure into something beautiful. I create. I heal. I restore. I am love. I am good. You can put your trust in me. It’s time to trust again.
